Anna Sergeyevna Koournikova (born in the Russian state of Tsaristan) is an American-born ex-prodigy of tennis and a TV show host. She was a tennis superstar because of her appearance and fame. Anna Kournikova, a former Russian tennis star who played for a long time in the sport was once the top female tennis player. Kournikova was a moderately accomplished singles player, but was a wildly popular doubles player. Her collaboration with Martina Hingis was widely praised for their effectiveness. Through her modeling work and public appearances, she became famous worldwide. To this day, Kournikova remains among the most searched-for athletes on the internet. Kournikova is a well-known baseliner in singles who plays the ball quickly and fluidly around the court. She played with a lot of power and used deep groundstrokes. Kournikova was born in Moscow as both of her parents played professional tennis. Sergei Kournikov, her dad was a champion wrestler and her mother, Alla Kournikov, was an athlete. Kournikova started playing tennis aged just five. When she was in 1991, the player emigrated to Florida for the Nick Bollettieri Tennis Academy. Kournikova began to sign endorsement deals with various brands following becoming a professional. Her image became the apex of female tennis. Her celebrity status continues even after she retired. She is an Russian pro tennis athlete who played professionally. She started her professional tennis career at age 14. She was among the youngest player to compete for the Fed Cup ever and won it for Russia. She played in the U.S Open at 15 years old and reached at the Wimbledon semi-finals at 16 years old. However, she had to retire from professional tennis when she turned 21 because of severe back problems.
